257 Wallace Road water service connection
Bedford
Description
The family selling the former farmhouse property asked the town to let unused sewer sleeves under Route 101 carry municipal water to the parcel, which is zoned commercial and listed for sale. No quorum meant no decision; it will return at the next meeting.
Impact summary
Municipal water could enable walkable, smaller-home development on the parcel and potentially extend water service down Wallace Road, boosting the town's commercial tax base.
