Camp Kettleford above-ground swimming pool
Bedford
Description
The Girl Scouts sought council approval for a building permit on a Class VI road to build an above-ground pool, since state law gave the council say-so until July 1. The Planning Board had already reviewed it supportively.
Impact summary
Campers get a safe swimming option that doesn't depend on pond water quality, and the town takes on zero road or pool liability.
